Tribal Bellydancing Basics

Basics offers an introduction to a dance discipline as bellydancing as fitness. Proper body posture, muscle isolations, basic large body movements and strengthening are emphasized. A foundation of dance techinque is built. Techinque is broken down to faciliate various learning styles and personal attention for all is a premium. An introduction to basic musicality in 4/4 is provided.**Recommend for beginners and solo DVD dancers.

Intermediate/Advanced Tribal Bellydancing

Each class begins and ends with yoga postures that complement overall dance techinques. as the class continues to emphasis on suppleness, but pairs it with strengthening exercises for stamina, posture, and advance-move ability. Moves are layered in this class and steps are more intricate. Zils (finger cymbals) and props (cane, veil) are also introduced.

Conditioning for Bellydance

A combination of hatha yoga and bellydancing techinques specifically designed to enhance overall strength, flexibility, balance, focus and coordination needed to optimize performance ability. A mixed level class for beginners to advanced level bellydance students. The class will also focus on a differnet bellydance technique each week to refine. ***Recommended for all bellydancing students.
